Your laptop should've came with DVD/CD burning software installed from the factory. Sonic MyDVD comes with a lot of pcs. Windows XP comes with a built-in disk burning software. Drag-to-disk is a feature where you can drag files/folders to the icon for the burner in Windows Explorer. It will save a list of the files/folders that will be burned to the disk or you can choose to burn them after they are dragged. XP's burnering application works fine, but I like Nero Premium Edition. It has software for creating DVD movies, converting video formats and music burning software, as well as backup utilities.

You could use later versions of the Windows Media Player or a software like Nero Burning or Easy CD Creater
