Reggaeton is an upbeat Latin music with a mix of rapping. It is influenced by beats of plena, bomba, reggae and hip hop. Reggaeton music is danced with "perreo", a dance originated in Puerto Rico where Reggaeton started to get popular. It is the easiest dance, because all you have to do is to get yourself shape up and grind those hips and belly.
Whenever I teach my students to dance to the music of Reggaeton, I always include the basic... the perreo... then followed with some basic hip hop steps mixed up with perreo. Try to include grinding not only of the hips but also shoulders.

depends on the type of reggaeton. Just go with the flow, if its perreo, grab a girl and do ya thing!

reggaeton is the discription of music the dance that is done to it is a mix of reggae it self hip hop, freestyle and african.
