How on earth could an over-the-counter mild pain reliver be a gateway drug? It has no addictive agent, no narcotic, nothing in it. Are you asking this question for a friend? It sounds like a methhead or stoner trying to justify their addiction by saying over-the-counter medicine is just as bad as the street drugs they're consuming.
