I am seeking the time to climb from the final vehicle crop off - at point #5(?). How long to get up? How long to come down?

I am pretty much out of shape, and a bit clumsy, my main exercise in Tokyo was just walking a few miles a day, so I went really slow, didn't want to risk getting one of those oxygen depreivation headaches or twisting an ankle. Also I liked stopping and appreciating the view or the stars (while drinking Aquarius and eating Snickers bars).
I went on a weekday and didn't have to compete with lines of other climbers. Went alone to set my own pace.

Time up to top overnight from station 5, about 9 hours. I felt fine! A bit tired, but fine.

Time down. 4 hours on that boring zigzag vehicle access path which strangely resembles the surface of Mars.

It took us about 5 hours to climb about 80% of the mountain from station 5. The rest of the climb was slow due to the many people who were all trying to reach the top by sunrise. The remainder 20% took 2 hours, but it could have easily taken us 1 hour. If you leave to early then you have to wait around up top in the cold until the sun rises. Coming back down took about 5 hours. In total, we left Shinjuku by bus at 1700 on Friday and returned back to Shinjuku by about 1600 Saturday.

It took me five hours to go up and six to go down, but I didn't like it from step one so I was dragging my feet.
