I cant connect to the internet with the router(Ethernet from DSL Modem to Router to PC) This doesnt work so I cant connect with the router only straight from the modem. When I do type in ip adress 192.168.1 i get directed to SBC modem page. ?? I ve reset the router, i think i might just get a new one. Any recomendations?

turn off power to modem and router for about 2 mins then power on your modem and when all lights come on power on your router. Then go to network connections in control panel and right click your wireless connection and pick repair.

This may be obvious, but the router is now plugged into the DSL modem and not the cable modem, right?

And on your modem... depending on your model, you may have some lights in the front of it. If so, do the Ethernet and DSL lights show green?

The router must be reconfigured for the DSL system vs. the cable system. This is a MUST. Go to the router admin page, http://192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1) and log in. Then go to the WAN connection settings and make sure the details are correct for your DSL connection.

if all others fail, call the routers company, they help u set up easily. I had the same problem with my Linksys Wireless-G but now it works fine. Just give them a call. its free to call and get technical help

its not SBC/AT&T problem, its the routers setup problem

Log into your router.
Type > 192.168.1.1 and password (sometimes password or admin)

Check configurations >Ensure everything is good
Reset DSL modem and router
Connect equipment

If you else falls. Give more info about your problem or call SBC.
Good luck.
