I have a few friends who refer to themselves as "Orang Ganu", but I think it's just them.

btw, Penang people are called "Penangites", no Penangeets.
(The same for KL people - KL-ites)

For the local people in Terengganu, they refer themself as
'Ore Ghanu' which means Orang Terengganu-Terengganu's Folk...but to say in English..i might say Terengganuans..but still i never heard anybody use that word..

Seriously, I think our Terengganu people can be called Terengganuan. Simple. Just add -an as suffix.
