You are going to think I am crazy but just refuse to show up, the baby will come when s/he is ready. Read these books or at least skim them at a local bookstore (given you timeline)...

The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth by Henci Goer
Silent Knife by Nancy Winer Choen & Lois J. Estner
The VBAC Companion by Diana Korte

The best I can say as far as natural induction is Raspberry tea like you said walking, sex and nipple stimulation!!!

Induction is risky business, I blame my induction for my c-section I had with my first and so far only child!!! If the baby is fine, healthy & safe & you are the same you should not let them talk you into another cesarean section. The side effects are too risky! Most times you can safely pass your due date by 2 weeks! I would talk to a local mid-wife about your options.

Do not feel pressured into doing something because the doctors scare you.

I am planning on TTC in May, and I am switching care providers completely because they have banned VBAC from my original hospital. The things you will read in the books above will astonish you, especially the things they never told you!

I pray for both of your safety, and that everything goes okay for you! Good luck! & Congrats ahead of time!

I think you have to talk it over with your doctor, and if possible husband/boyfriend discuss the risks of both ways, and weigh up the benfits and disadvantages, I would feel uncomfortable telling you to go either way, if it was me I would just go for the C section if it was the most plausible option, even though its horrible and hurts, but at least the baby will be safe...

It's up to you natural is always better if you can, but if you cant a c section isnt all that bad

I'm 33 weeks pregnant, u may call me crazy but i wish i could deliver by c-section, i don't want to feel any pain or anything , want to sleep and wake up see the baby beside me, and I agree that c-section is more safe for the mother and the baby, and i have a lot of friends who delivered both and they all agree upon the c- section :) so cheer up maybe ur last c-section wasn't good as the one u will have.

Talk it over with the doctor and let him know your concerns about a c-section. Unfortunately, the baby will come when it is ready and if it doesn't come in a week c-sections are less stressful on the baby.

This might be a littler personal, but I'm not sure plain sex will do it. If you orgasm, your uterus will contract. That just might be what you need to set it off. If you have been having orgasms while trying to stimulate labour by having sex, then I don't really know what to say!
