I think it's ridiculous. Lots of people have the same names.

I read about this today. I think this is acceptable to a celebrity community, but who else really cares that much? Lots of people share the same name! Who made Keith Urban the sole owner of this name? I think he is being petty and immature!

The only thing that the singer can do is have a disclamer posted on the painter's website. The singer would also have to post a similar disclaimer on his website. I would certainly hope that country fans are smart enough to distinguish between an artist's page and a singer's page.
