I am assuming that you live in the USA.

Check out:

National Camp Association

American Camps Association
http://www.acacamps.org/

Kidscamps.com
http://www.kidscamps.com/

CampJobs.com

Summer Camps Jobs

NorthEast Summer Camp Employment

Then again, there's always the possibility of getting a summer job with:

The National Park Service

That should get you started!

When I was a kid, almost all the camps were run by either a religious organization of some kind or the Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts. I knew, vaguely, that "rich kids" went to private camps, but they were just something advertised in the back of certain magazines with extensive classifieds. Sunday Supplements to the newspaper. I'm sure they have now gone to web sites, but my guess is a search engine would need to do it by region.

Consider, however, what non-profits you might suppose ran a camp most to your liking. Were you a Girl Scout? Are you active in a church or other religious affiliation? How about other clubs, especially those of a broad scope, such as YMCA?

Then what sort of camp, in what sort of location, would be especially important to you? Do you ride horses? Then horses should clearly be a part of the camp's program, perhaps a central part if you are good enough to teach children to ride. Are you crafty, and if so, do you have a specialty? You might look for a camp with an emphasis on crafts and art and creativity. I know there are also camps which specialize in music, drama, dance and the like.

Using the Yahoo search engine to find a likely listing, you will probably find it is geared toward the parents of the kids it attracts. You will need to read the site map, most likely, to find employment opportunities.

Good luck! Sorry I can't be of more specific help. Very smart of you to start now to plan for this summer.
