Dear Meggie,

To answer your question directly, it will not harm you to drink out of the same glass as your cat. I have a couple of cats that like to do the same thing so I understand their unique characteristics, however, I personally would wash out the glass before I would drink out of it again and after I was finished I would refill it and leave it for the cat. We have to keep our cats happy and give them what they want. I hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,

Alice H.

What the hell do you suppose Men [in the Men's Health section] would know about drinking after a friggin cat?? Maybe you should ask that question in the General Health section, or better yet the Mental Health section.

You should read up about worms. It's not a good idea to drink after your cat at all.

They lick their bums and crotches, not to mention all the dirt off their bodies, if you want to catch something then i guess it's ok, but i would definately say NO way!!! Get your cat his/her own glass!

Your cat is probably more hygenic than many humans.
