According to the review, your computer came with a dual layer DVD burner, wehich means that you do have burning capability. To use this feature, you will need burnable DVD's, and since yuoi have a Dual Layer burner, you will need Dual Layer DVD's. Dual Layer means that you can pack alot more info onto the DVD than a single layer. I think it is around 8GB as opposed to 4.7 for the single layer. The other thing you will need is DVD burning software. SInce you computer shipped with the burner you probably have some sort of software preinstalled. Look for something called Nero, it is a very basic but popular preinstalled burning program. I have it on my laptop, and it works great. If you can't find any Nero, look for Roxio, which is also pretty common.

Hi. Your machine comes with a dual layer DVD burner. This means it can burn (onto the proper DL media) data, allowing storage of over 8 GB of data, quite a bit. To burn DVD movies you will need software. I use "1 Click DVD Copy" but the choice is yours. Good luck and have fun!

Based on what I saw, it comes with a DVD burner. The duel layer means you'll be able to store more data onto your DVD's. It has a port for another "optical device", which is just fancy for cd/dvd stuff, basically anything with a laser. Hope it helps.

If your computer has a DVD burner, there will be a disk drive that has DVD +- RW on it.

To burn DVD's, depending on what type of dvd you want to burn, you put in a blank DVD and the computer should help you create a disk. Otherwise, it's drag-and-drop.

What the article says is that your computer DOES have a DVD burner, and there's a space in your computer for an extra drive if you wanted to add one.

You already have a burner, so you already fulfilled the hardware requirements. The second requirement for burning dvd's is software. I suggest purchasing a burning suite such as Nero 7:

The good news is that you can burn DVDs. Your computer came with DVD burning software called

CyberLink® DVD Solution Suite:

CyberLink® PowerDVD™ (DVD Play)
CyberLink® Power2Go™ (DVD Burn)

Use it to burn your DVDs.
