I had this problem on an Alg.2 test today, and I'm just wondering if I did it correctly...
(nPr)/ (rPr) = n!/r!(n-r)!

n! / r! => n! x 0! => n!
(n-r)! (r-r)! (n-r)! r! r!(n-r)!

is my work correct? it turns out to be the same as nCr, which seems weird...

whoops, the spaces aren't in there... the top was supposed to be divided by the bottom. thanks though! oh yeah, and the test question just said that; it didn't have numbers.

It looks about right. But it would be a *lot* easier if you'd define your terms ☺
