Nashville star own written song night??

Do you think they should move the written song night up towards the beginning of the series, to the end or keep it where its at.

I believe it should be towards the beginning of the show. Lets face it every single winner has locked in their chances of winning by their own song. Buddy Jewell won with the song about his daughter and heaven exact title escapes my mind, Brad Cotter won with his song I miss me, and Chris Young won with drinkin my lonely. For the most part you can tell who's going to win by that night. Thats my reasoning for it being at the very beginning of the series. That way all 10 people you get to a hear something they wrote and that momentum might keep someone in who would of been booted at the first episode. Argument could also be made that on the own written song night. the Winnering songs that hit over the fans very well are Love songs or Sad songs. Although how much nashville star actually helps singers remains to be seen. the actual winners for the most part havent done anything since the show. with the exception of buddy jewel. even some of the people booted off have made it better then the winners case in point miranda lambert. fault on those singers not going any further has to be on the record label for not pushing them ie endorsments,concerts,videos etc.

I think it should aways be the option of the artist to choose to use his/her own music and succeed or fail on that decision.
