Oh ****! He's not on my flight.... is he?
(sorry, I believe in racial profiling-I was severely shook down/felt up in the Kona Airport last month while they let a few men with towels on their heads go right through)

I am not that all bothered because after 9/11 i think we have much tighter security measures for Every1 who is Flying,I actually was on a non stop flight from Ohio to California not too long ago and I was seated next to a middle eastern man with a turban he was in the window seat and I was next to him in the aisle seat and when lunch came around he asked me if I wanted his steak burger because he dont eat meat , Then he fell asleep and when the stewardess came around for the second time for beverages I went ahead and ordered him another Coke because I figured it was least I could do as he gave me his sandwich and I figured we had a couple more hours into flight since he was asleep he may be thirsty when he woke up.. i am not scared to fly or to die if it is my time in any way shape or form

What? Do you honestly think that terrorists wear turbans?
Turbans are most associated with India, a country no more closely associated with terrorism than, say, the United States.
So, the answer to your question is: I think "Jeeze, that thing has got to be hot."

I feel sorry for them, because I know they'll be randomly selected for extra screening.
I get hassled every time I fly, so now I drive everywhere. I'm Indian, born and raised in Brooklyn, with a Brooklyn accent, served in our military, parents came here from Trinidad... in this hemisphere, can't even speak hindi. My family hasn't been from India for generations. I don't even know a damn Muslim, and lost a good friend in the tower collapse. But still I get hassled, so I avoid flying.
It's sadly ironic that I build jet engines for a living.
Not sure if I wanted to type this, but I might as well. Blacks don't harass me. Hispanics don't harass me. Asians don't harass me. White people are scared to death. Sad.
Would they be more scared if they realized a huge portion of the world's Muslims look Black, Chinese, Hispanic, and even White?

The person wearing the turban is catching a flight somewhere, has to stop and be checked in security, and doesn't want to miss their flight, just like me.

I look closely at the turban because I wouldn't want to mistake a Sikh with a sickie.

I hope I'm not seated next to that guy. They tend to smell like B.O. and curry powder.
