They are OK - you can tell they're a work of love for the books, but they can't match the power and especially not the originality of the book. And the choice of some actors was downright bad - seeing that little fag as Legolas made me cringe - Legolas is a very powerful character iin the book, and here we get that girl. And they skipped Tom Bombadil completely, which is a fatal falw and shows the directors shallow percpetion, nediocrity and superficiality. Good thing he was banned from doing the Hobbit.

I loved all 3 of them!
If your not into wizardry, hobbits, freaky creatures, and anything to do with medieval times, the Lord of the Rings is not a movie for you, but if you are then I recommend watching all 3 of them.

Which one? There are three. In my opinion, all of them are. The actors are awesome, the cinematography is beautiful, the soundtrack is perfect, and Tolkien is a genius.
