1. Ask yourself why you need a radar detector.
2. They are not foolproof. A lot of money to spend on something not 100% accurate.
3. Going the speed limit will mean you never HAVE to be on the lookout for traffic cops.
4. Law enforcement agencies are always looking for the next radar technology to outwit the nitwits with radar detectors. So, you may be dropping a bunch of cash for a soon-to-be obsolete unit.

ESCORT and PASSPORT are the best if you mount the box and let it have full front and rear sight .... high speed driving does not save you any time if you get ""stopped"" --- and the detector is only as good as your reaction time --- if you are ""seen"" weaving the traffic that is just as bad as speeding... opt for approxamately 5/7 mph over and I'll bet you get there sooner........
