I am new to working with stained glass and the specific glass saws are very expensive. Anyone know if a diamond blade can be found for a standard band saw, Ryobi, etc that you could use to cut glass ? Thanks !!

A pistol grip cutter would be the best for comfort, here is link for that site on the cutter http://www.glassaccessories.com/
Glass saws are used to primarily cut intricate pieces, if you did all of your glass cutting with the saw you would probably die of old age before anything else. Here is stained glass Q & A site that can help you more listed on the sources below. I doubt that a diamond blade from Gemini, Diamond Tech or anyother glass saw would fit your Ryobi.

I've been cutting glass for 30 years, and I agree.
Use a diamond wheel glass cutter.

Cutting glass the "standard" way isn't all that difficult it just takes practice.

I wouldn't Attempt cutting it with anything else it's alot more dangerous
