Im looking to start a lawncare business in louisiana/new orleans. I wantto know where i go to obtain an occupational license if i even need one? any help would be awesome!

If you are planning on spraying weed killers, then you will need some kind of horticultural license. I think the test is offered for it 3-4 times a year.

i had to go to my parish's clerk of courts office for the license but also my planning and zoning office to get a permit for a home office to be able to get the license. there was a probationary period between permit and license to make sure none of my neighbors took issue with a home occupancy business in the neighborhood.
