I'm planning on purchasing a laptop, and I was wondering what kind of accessories are good to buy along with it. Aside from the obvious choices, should I buy an ethernet cable hub, or does wireless access come standard in the machine? (I'm looking at an HP, if that makes a difference)

most of the new good laptops come with built in wireless ,so that shouldnt be a problem , HP is alright but you can look into better laptop manufacturer's like alienware , toshiba , dell and so on

one thing u need to remember while buying a laptop is to look for a good one as you cant upgrade laptops , the only thing you would be able to add ... is RAM or change the hardrive but other then that rest is built in on the motherboard so .. you cant upgrade your processor or graphics card and stuff .

Wireless comes standard in most of today's machines, but it's only a $30 upgrade via a wi-fi card if the machine isn't so equipped. Spare batteries and car chargers are good if you're on the road a lot. I personally don't recommend an HP. Go with an IBM, Sony or Toshiba.
