What do you think about names for boy/girls that are island names? Like some of the Hawaiian ones. Give me some ideas. States, cities, and overseas islands. I'm looking for uniqiness. Also names that mean something in different languages, like Bonita. Thanks a bunch!!

Great idea!

I just found a website listing several pages of "island baby names." Too many to copy and paste, so I'll just give you the link instead. It may be a good place to start, good luck!

I lived on the island Terciera (tear-c-air-a) in the Azores. I always thought that was a pretty name. The neighboring island was Graciosa.

No. Just no. If there's already a freakin' ISLAND with that name, it's not very unique.

PS - I honestly hope that, eventually, people will stop and realize how Godawful these "unique" names are.
