LOL = laugh out loud.
When you add the letter 's' as in lols........it just means emphasizing the action of laughing out loud.
Some chatters add the letter 'z' and it has the same meaning.
lolsssssssssss OR lolzzzzzzzz.

Others have explained what LOL or LOLLZ means, quite well. But this word is used so often and in various different contexts, that I think it has lost its original meaning; it has become an expression that isnt to be taken seriously! Just go through the number of LOL or LOLZZ words that you come across in YA or in other writing, and you would know what I mean. It is like people using OK or ok at the beginning, end or middle of sentences they may write, and this too has become a common usage without any particular meaning attached to it!

lolzz means lots of laughs; they are spelling lol(s) using a (z) at the end to make the "s" Sound.
Although I agree LOL can mean either "laughing out load" or "lots of laughs;" when someone puts a "z" (meaning "s" sound) or "s" at the end of lol ...they are saying "lots of laughs"; NOT "laughing out louds."
