Most of the disney or Pixar, whatever, 3D movies are so kiddy and kind of stupid. They are never serious, it's almost always geared for kids . I think that one with Tom hanks was nice, but aside from that , the ocean one was kiddy with wacky cheesy voice actors( Who are famous people)..and that Car one was also cheesy. The Shrek one was nice, but still the cheesy comedic vibe was there,,...specially because Famous Comedians are doing voices. that sucks, they should n't be used.

Because Disney makes movies for kids. That's like asking why their cartoons are kiddy. "Final Fantasy" was a computer animated movie for adults. Maybe you would like that one.

Well I'd have to say why they're so childish and "wacky"....It's a cartoon, it's Disney....Now don't get me wrong, I loved growing up watching all the classic Disney movies when I was younger, but those films are long gone, they will never make animated films like Fox and the Hound, The Rescuers, or Robin Hood ever again....All the new films for the new generation are garbage, so don't spend too much time on it....Oh, and Shrek isn't a Disney or Pixar movie

Two answers here, the frst is plain and smple it´s Disney they make films for kids and have always done so, and will probably continue to do so, they believe in works of imagination and love. children have the most easily manipulated imaginations, kids don´t understand economics and the like there for they are extremely easy to sell to.
try selling a film to an adult... and they´ll find a thousand reasons not to watch it, kids however are a guarenteed market they are easy to please put an advert on TV and every kid wants to see it. example, ask me if I want a sweet, and I´ll ask you what kind of sweet, ask a kid if they want a sweet and the answer will be YES

2nd part of the answer is Money money money, you´ve hooked the children, but somebody has to go with them, parents don´t go free to the movies and nobody really likes upsetting their children, so when little tommy wants to see Cars or Toy Story Mummy or Daddy have to get a ticket as well ensuring greater financial rewards.

Of course as other people have mentioned, they have enjoyed these films as well, I know I have. if you can appeal to every child and some adults you´ve got a truly massive audience.

Some of their movies actually have a pretty deep moral to them. Maybe watching them a few more times will help you understand it.
And some of them actaully have prety funny adult jokes... I know the Wallace & Grommit movie wasn't Disney/Pixar, but it had tons of funny aduly jokes that I found hilarious.
