lol, it happens a lot more than we realize. My cousin copped one straight to the face, full power, broke his nose so badly it required surgery and left his face really really bruised and swollen. It was so bad to see his face, it was a right old mess and gee I felt his pain.

i saw a La Liga game a couple years back when Beckham fired a free kick onto the head of one of the players in the wall(REALLY F'N HARD!!!). that player got knocked out cold and had to be taken away.. lol! such a shame though, i cant recall who madrid was playing against. i really would like to see that again. Not all the time but it does happen yes.. Especially when Roberto Carlos is taking a hit(he has the fastest shot) players arent protecting thei faces.. theyre covering right below the waist. theyd rather get a bleeding nose rather than getting infertile.. wouldnt u

It happened to me a couple of times, and if you notice when they line up in the wall, they are also covering something of importance with their hands, and THAT hurts even more, so I think I would rather be hit in the face!!!!

Is part of the game, like in footbal where they even get concussions, what I do is put my face to the side. And try not to get hit in the nose where it hits the most.
