i have been told you can divorce a prisoner for free is this true?

my husband is a federal inmate for 6 years

I don't really know but I would say not. If your married it doesn't matter if he's in a federal pen or not. Contact a lawyer and ask.

It depends on your state.
I know it's not free in Michigan but it isn't expensive either. I heard one woman paid only 10.00
