go with two of the above start at McDonald's and then if that is getting too long go to one of the coffee places .
you could go bowling too horse back riding swimming movie
see the stuff i listed has an activity that the two of you share together this allows for something to talk about. also it makes it so a break in the conversation does seem so awkward.
oh and i think getting the kiss in half way through is a good idea that lets the tension go and you two are then more able to just be yourself instead of sitting there thinking about the kiss oh no the kiss ahhh the kiss yikes that kiss
