I would agree with the guy who said the Palms, you would have a great view from either the Palms or Rio..

But if you want a really incredible view of the strip plus the Palms and Rio, plus be able to see all the way to downtown LV. Try the Orleans, it's is a 3 star hotel and not a 4 like the Palms and Rio but it's also usually less than half the price..

At the Orleans ask for a room on the 15th-19th floors, room # 02-44>even numbers - rooms such as 1504-1640-1824-1916 etc would all have views out of this world.

The Orleans was chosen by "Trip Advisor" as the #2 "best value" hotel in the world..This is by a vote of travelers.

my favorite sites to check LV room rates

And yep I agree with the guy who said you can spend $200-$300-$600 a night. I prefer to plan ahead, go when it's slow, and stay for $25 a night at the Orleans. It cost me $190.75, total, including taxes for 9 nights in December. The desk clerk was able to give me room #1640 when she noticed the $10 in my hand. >I'm not that cheap LOL , I left her a gift later in my stay...I'm also holding two rooms at the Orleans for May 28th, four nights at $24 per(rate found on travelworm 11/9) the rate is all the way up to $35 now.

I have stayed at the Stratosphere, Luxor, Rio and of Course Orleans...No I have not stayed at the Palms but the Rio has the better view IMHO as it sits one block NE of the Palms and blocks most if not all of the Palms rooms views of the North end of the strip..The view from the Orleans, if you get the rooms I suggested is the best IMHO...Of course the view from the Stratosphere tower after dark is incredible, you can walk around the tower and see the lights of the whole valley..

If you are talking "panoramic" by it's true defintion, then you would want to try to get one of the upper floors of the Palms. It's about 1 mile west of center strip, so if your room is facing the strip side, you would get a nice panoramic view.

I've stayed on the 48th floor of Wynn, and got a very good strip view though. Also, i've had friends stay on the 27th floor of the Monte Carlo, facing the strip and they had a very solid view. (Monte Carlo is going ot be your cheapest option of those at about $220/night on weekends. Wynn would be $600/night and the Palms is around $375/night).

Good luck! Remember, you can request strip views at the front desk, and if they are feeling generous, they'll oblige.

Get a room at the top, south side, of the Stratosphere. You will basically look down the strip. TV stations use the view to show LV during weather forcast
