Is time warner cable internet running slower than usual?

Ever since TWC bought adelphia, its been running slower than normal. Is this to force me to use road runner's?

Its possible that the merge of these two companies put all the same people on the same network, and the more people on line means a slower internet service for everyone. I would put in a regular complaint to your actual service provider, and if it does not speed up by the end of the month, you might think of DSL or some other provider untill they figure it out.
