Right now the Lakers, the Heat have struggle all year without Shaq. Even with a healthy Shaq the Heat won't even be as good as there were last year. The Lakers have been playing good basketball so far this year. With the polished game of Odom, the emergence of Bynum, and solid team play from Kobe, this Lakers team could knock someone out in the 1st round of the playoffs, especially with a healthy Kwame Brown and Chris Mihm.

Lakers, they are a younger and stronger team this year and they are working together. Kwame will be out for awhile, but Bynum has really came a long way and Luke will be back soon. Their bench has contributed well so far this year ( a few off games) and then there's Kobe who can lead the team and pull them ahead when necessary. Keep watching, these guys are gonna kick some ***!!!

The Lakers, they have the youth going and Kobe is begining to realize what Jordan did a few years back, that he had to defer to his teammates to win Championships.
Not to take anything away from the Heat but Shaq is past his dominant primeand there is isn't much support for DWade.

lakers aren't exactly at full power without Kwame and Luke walton. Lamar is back, and is easing back into his position on the team. when lakers are at full power in the play-offs, they'll get pretty far.

Heat--They are doing good now, and are going to start playing like last year. Shaq is getting back, and D-Wade is playing as good as he ever will.
