Metaphysically absurd! How can the planet move away from itself?

tides will still come, water tides and waves are caused by the gravitation pull of the moon, so moving away from the sun won't affect it, but moving away from the sun will cause an immense drop in temperature and turning this place into a place unsuitable for living, if far enough maybe much closer to mars, oceans will freeze, lands will become unsuitable for living, we will all die of cold, eventually...moon will still orbit the earth though - forgot to say....no daylight =D
