i'm talking even manipulating doctors into telling him he has heart problems when he doesn't. he is good!

How can you manipulate a doctor? They go by test results and such. He must not be a very good doctor if he is allowing this man to manipulate him. I think this person probably has mental problems and needs to see a shrink.

Tell them that you are onto them and you will call the local newspaper unless they stop it. I think there may be a real disease that causes people to do that. I have read some articles in newspaper that mothers will poison(not to death) jsut enough to make them sick to get attention. Sickos.

How do you know he is faking it? Maybe he needs the attention! When a kid hurts himself and it's not really sore we still give them the attention!

obviously,this person has a mental condition that requires serious medical attention. There is a known syndrome for this but the name escapes me right now.

that can be a serious psychological condition, and i would definately refer him to a psychologist. though it may be of benefit to talk to him and let him know what you suspect. maybe he just needs to get caught to stop, or perhaps he just need a friendly face that will listen to him.

i work in a nursing home and i see it happen now and then....all ya can do is play along to make them feel important.
