how can i refund my unused ticket

go to the nearest cathay pacific office. be sure that you have all the documents with you and it is your ticket or your card made to purchase the ticket. you might have to pay a fee for the refund.

Different refund policies apply for different fares/type of ticket you bought. You will need to contact a Cathay Pacific reservations office or maybe you're travel agent. If your ticket is a "Restricted Economy" ticket, then it is probably impossible to get a refund. I believe you can get a refund for a normal Economy class ticket, but I'm pretty sure you can't get a refund for the restricted economy one, since it costs less to buy the restricted one (but more restrictions come with it too). Like someone mentioned already, you may be required to pay a certain amount of money in order to get a refund. I think you must make a refund 7 days before the date of departure or no refund. And there is no refund if the departure date had passed and you simply didn't show up at your flight. Good luck.

You can go to Cathay Pacific ticketing office if you bought it to the airline but if through travel agency, they will be the one to process your refund. Just make sure you have the receiving copy of the ticket for refund.

Check the restrictions first on your paper ticket / e ticket. If it says non-ref then say good bye to your money. Your travel agent should have informed you of any restrictions on your airline ticket. If it is refundable, go to the nearest cathay pacific.
