My boyfriend has a teenage kid who cusses at me every day. The kid yells all the worse words to me, and at me, when ever he does not agree with what I say. The kid's dad doesn't punish him or even scold him.
I think teenagrs who are allowed to cuss become criminals later in life.

I'm no expert on this, but, if the dad won't do anything about it, tell the mom that if the boy mouths off to you one more time, you're gonna stick a bar of soap all the way down his throat. She may belt ya, maybe say it more nicely. But stand your ground with this kid, or avoid him completely.

Criminals? probably not. But if they don't respect women, they are well on their way to being abusive. You need to tell your husband who does he support. I left a boyfriend over this. He had 4 boys who would hit and kick me. (they were 8 and younger). He just kept saying they'd outgrow it. I said they wouldn't if they didn't know any better. When he didn't say anything the next time, I left and told him. " you just made your choice".

I agree. I child who is allowed to disrespect adults, especially one who is important to his parent, will likely be a trouble maker as an adult. Children learn what they live.
Perhaps you should exit your relationship with this man, whom thinks so little of you, that he would allow his kid to continue using violent language towards you.

if i was the girlfriend, and his kid talked to me that way, id say somethin to that kid, since the father wont.. i dont see how any parent would allow such disrespect towards an adult friend... or anyone adult they knew... my kids may give me lip, but like hell would they give an adult that they aquainted with some.... unless that adult was abusing them in some way. BIG TROUBLE!!

Stop dating him. Tell him that if his son doesn't stop cussing at you that you will stop dating and coming around him. The child might not like you because your not the mother.

Ummm....Adults do the same thing.Anyway I didn't really get the question.It seemed like you were just giving an opinion.Maybe you should talk to your boyfriend about it,or leave him if he doesn't do anything about it.
