Why is the onus for Muslim women's sexiness on the women?

Ok, I know I will get abused for this but will ask anyway.

Muslim women cover themselves so as to not excite men that are not their husbands. However, the are in the passive role (just being) while men who can't control themselves are being active.

In most societies it is the active participant of a crime/faux pas who gets blamed.

So wouldn't it be more logical for Muslim men to wear a device of some sort that cuts of the blood flow to their penis if they get aroused in public? Funny isn't it....until you think about how restrictive wearing a hijab must be when its not even your fault...

1) I think your questions stems from a misunderstanding of the concept of 'Hijab'
Hijab is just modesty and it applies to men just as much as women. But this isn't highlighted enough!

Men too have a hijab, it just covers different parts of the body then women's.. as men are seen to have different private areas. For example a man is strongly encoraged to grow a beard for modesty

And also the onus for preventing lust is not on women.. When a man sees a woman , he is meant to gaze his eyes downwards, and not look twice.

It is written in the Quran surah 24:30
'"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and to be mindful of their chastity: this will be most conducive to their purity '

So weather a woman is dressed in hijab or a PVC leather sex costume a man is not allowed to make a lustful or rude comment. So any Muslim man that spends his time eyeing up women.. Is actually breaking the codes of Islam.
