For books and tv shows, you underline the name when using MLA style. The same applys for just about any other form of media, like encyclopedias or magazines. You put the article name in quotation marks and underline the name of the publication.

You underline the title of a book when you cite it at the end of the paper. You start by giving the name of the author (last name, first name), then the underlined title of the book, the name of the publisher, then finally the year.

As for the TV show, I've never used that as a source, but if I did, I would underline.

Book titles should be underlined.....and for the rest, I recommend doing a google search for MLA format.

For books, you underline them, although some teachers say you should italicize them. For short stories and poetry, your put them in quotes.
For TV shows, if it's the name of the series, you underline it, but the name of the specific episode you put in quotes. :D
