I want to know what would be the best processor for gaming, for about $350 or less.

When I say for $350 and under, I do mean just for the processor, not including anything else.

Look at the AMD 64 models. They're great for processing, and they're well priced. Intel's are more expensive, but they are a little more resistant.

AMD 64x8 with at least 1or 2 gig of memory on the computer and at least a 150 hard drive is a pretty economical and powerful gaming performance option. but the best processor for gaming period is the Intel Core Duo Extreme but that processor alone costs 1500 bux.
