I just found this word somewhere and according to the word parts, I would guess that it has something with the study of space, and god. Am I right? Please explain. Thank you very much!

Theology founded on observation or knowledge of the celestial bodies. All religions are the product of prior mythological believes, the first mythologies claimed the stars as the place were supernatural beings would reside. In time people were able to explain that the stars were clearly not a place for these supernatural beings and so conceived a more distant and undefined environment for their deities to reside.
