Libby says that he and Russert discussed Valerie Plame back in '03. Russert insists, in no uncertain terms, that they did not.
If you were a member of a jury, who would you believe?

Tim Russert for sure. I. Scooter Libby can not be trusted.
Tim Russert has always been fair and honest. I believe Libby and the Vice President would say or do anything to throw suspicion away from those two. Anyone who specifically leaked the name of a CIA Operative, knowingly she and her family could face death or kidnappings has something to hide! The I in Scooter name must stand for IDIOT.

Am I losing it or did I. Scooter served time in prison on the Watergate scandal?

Who has the greater motive to be lying? Libby. In fact, what possible motive is there for Russert to have lied? So far a half dozen witnesses say they heard this information from Libby, which he himself now admits he knew before he talked to Russert (because he found the notes he took on the meeting when he learned it from Cheney).

Is the guy who blames Plame being serious? How is she supposed to even know that the vice president wanted this information leaked, let alone stop him? No one has ever alleged that she was "letting people know" that she was an agent. But there are people at the top who have the security clearance necessary find this information out. One of them is the vice president of the United States. What a classic case of blaming the victim!

Russert. Possible he may have talked about Wilson's wife(like 'he's wife is doing well'...etc), but he didn't know she was CIA untill after their phone conversation.

How can any one trust the word of any one working in the Bush white house. They have great track record on WMD, 9-11 and Iraq, the cost of the war and other lies.

Are you kidding? Libby is lying to protect his friends in high places, especially Shooter Cheney. Libby wouldn't know the truth if it smacked his butt. He's going down.

Libby is a pol. That's a reason to distrust him.
Russert has been a pol AND a journalist. 2 reasons to distrust him.

I trust Libby more.

I would blame Valerie Plame for letting people know she was a secret agent. It is all her fault for getting caught/busted.
