Today i was out with a friend. I was on my period. I didn't really check on myself very well throughout the day because i was distracted. Later on when i got home, i realized my pad was soaked, and there was a circle of blood on my underwear and it seeped onto my pants!!! If you look at the back of my pants, there's a blood spot! Oh god i hope it didn't get on the seat of their car, oh i wonder how long i had been walking around like that! I hope they didn't notice! Ladies, has this happened to you?

Hah. This happened to me when I was about 12. I was sleeping over at my friend's house and she has an older brother and we used to sleep in his floor in his room. Well, one morning they decided to wake me up because I was the last one asleep,and of course I was on my period and had to be wearing light blue pajama pants and when I got up he asked what was on my pants and I turned red said "nothing!" really fast and ran downstairs to change pants. So not obvious. Haha. Later he found out and said it was nothing to be embarrassed about , but I was mortified.

It happened once to me. It's not that big of a deal, although it's certainly frustrating. Unless your pants were bright white and the spot was huge, it's hardly likely that anyone noticed it.

Hey, girl! Yes, that's happened to me, and yes, it's embarrasing, but calm down...it's okay! That same thing happened to me twice! Once when I was sleeping over at a friend's house, and once at church. I thought that it was the end of the world, but it's alright! Bad things happen to everybody, girl, but remember that tomorrow is a new day! I hope everything works out for you!

yes! well not esactly but yes. i was 12 and i was still gettin used to my period, so i wasnt wearing thick pads and i wasnt changing regular, so i was at school, and from like 10am onwards i had blood on the back of my pants and no one told me coz i was such a loner! it was horrible.

it happend to me when i was 18 yrs old, in high school, i noticed it on prom nite and it went thru the first 2 layers of my dress.... by the time i left, i had a huge circle on the outside of my gown... i didnt notice until we got to the hotel room, i was terrified... but oh well, atleast i noticed AFTER prom and enjoyed the dance.

Don't worry! I think this happens to every woman at least once, whether they admit it or not! Also, I bet your friends didn't even notice....I would hope that a real friend would tell you!

if your friend noticed, i'm sure she would have noticed.
hasn't happened to me. i'm paranoid it will, though, so i always change my tampon before i need to - not that that is a good thing - it can cause problems.
but remember to check your pad and change it every 4-6 hours even if you're not bleeding too much. it's for hygiene and odor.

This has happened to me before. I switched over to tampons and I never get this problem. You never have to worry about leaks with tampons, and they are so much more comfortable. You may want to consider trying them so this doesn't happen again! It is quite embarassing!!
