log (base 3) x = 2

My brain isn't working right now. Help would be appreciated.

log[base 3](x) = 2

To solve this, all you need to do is change it into exponential form.
To do so, remember that
log[base b](a) = c means the same thing as b^c = a.

Therefore,

3^2 = x, or
x = 9
