I like it. Bot my kids have different names. Some people thought my son's name was neat, but with my daughter I got things like, "You named her WHAT?!" and "I can't believe you did that to that baby!" Just you wait, in another 5 years or so you will hear "Koen" every where. That's what happened with both my kids. Although with my daughter, I only had to wait until Angelina Jolie had her baby. Kinda sucks when that happens, but just remember, you had it first or, as in my case, the kids were named in honor of my parents and my best friend.

It's a very nice name, but if you have concern then have the dad-to-be "try the name out." Have him go to bars, restaurants, etc and introduce himself as Koen. Have him see what it's like to live as a Koen. If he thinks life is great, go for it. If not, then at least you know.
But I think it's great!

I love it! My family is German...I think Koen is unique but not goofy weird. Unique is good. Both of my kids have unique names.

I think it sounds good. They say a name tells alot about a person, maybe your son will grow up to be a brave & courageous person. It is different & cute.

I like the name. It is short, easy to pronounce and easy to spell. If other people don't like it, who cares?? If the parents are happy with it that's all that matters. Just enjoy your precious baby boy and don't let what other people think or say bother you.....

I love it! It's a name that will grow with him- cute now while he's still little, cool when he gets older and becomes a teenager, and masculine and mature sounding when he's an adult. Snaps to you-- I think you chose well!

I think it's unique, yet not too unusual sounding or anything. It sounds like a different name that would become very popular. I think it sounds great!
