Everyone gave advice on what I would do. Now have you tried RESTORE yet. That is like a time machine and in the good old days before I bought Norton's Anti-Virus, I used to restore a lot. lol Anyway, you know the windows where they list all the programs, well go to PC HELP & TOOLs, then click restore and follow instructions. If perchance that does not help, then like me, hell with it. I did a COMPLETE Recovery and just reformatted my computer to manufacturers specs, as it came out of the box. I have learned to save programs now to disk on RW that is so I can update. I have one cd with Downloads from my cell phone to games. Downloading the initial program is the longest. then RUNNING the program is the easy part. I have Norton's now and I have not a problem since I got it. Also I learned in chat rooms not to link to the porn sites too. lol if you do not have too much stuff then do a recovery if nothing else.

It's a worm virus that attacks e-mail, try using Microsoft's malicious removal tool and then download Windows Defender to protect your OS. McAfee has a stand alone virus removal tool called "Stinger" which will eradicate some of these virus's. It is a free download and I suggest that you burn this program onto a CDROM or load it onto a flash drive to launch it from. You may also consider downloading "Spybot, Search and Destroy" also.

Its called a mailer worm! Try the microsoft malicious removal tool Your second problem is a page hijacker and isnt related to the first. You got it from some freeware you downloaded. You will need to uninstall the freeware and then find a removal tool for it! Its time you learned what freeware and file sharing sites do to your PC! This is where you got the crap from!
