Let air hit the area as much as possible. Also, use Vitamin A & D ointment, it works wonders.

Try a calendula-based diaper rash cream from your local health food store. Also, look into changing your diapers (sometimes the rash is exacerbated by whatever materials are in the diapers). You might just have to switch to cloth diapers and keep your baby clean and dry for a while, or stop using diapers altogether until the rash heals.
It's entirely possible that the rash is being caused by an allergic reaction--if it recurs, pay close attention to the products you use on your baby, the clothes she wears, the food she eats, etc.

Keep updated with the doctor.
Try to keep the diaper off for periods of time during the day. Do not put diaper rash cream where ever it is bleeding.
I use diaper rash cream but I also have used olive oil and vitamin e oil and it's worked great.
Prevention is key to diaper rashes. always change diapers frequently and let the babies behind air out every day for a little while.

Let her bottom get as much air as you can. When my sons got that bad I tried ALL of the creams and they might work for a day or 2 then it was right back. Even with the dr. cream it would get better for a few days and come right back. I found that letting it get air really did help the best. You didn't mention the age, but if she is little just put a towel under her and take the diaper off for awhile. You will have to clean up the mess but it is worth it so she won't be crying in pain.
One cream that seemed to work the best at first was Butt paste by Boudreaux's. You can get it at wal-mart for $4-7 a tube. It's not cheap but it takes the red away. It works best if the area is dry so it will stick to the bottom better. Clean her good and let her air dry for a while then put it on.

First, you need to make sure that it's not a yeast rash. If it looks like blisters, chances are it is. If so, you need to apply an antifungal each time you change the diaper. Instead of using wipes, use a soft washcloth with water only. Clean gently, let her air dry for a couple of minutes, and then apply the antifungal (such as Lotrimin) and then a diaper rash cream.
I would also recommend a cream that you can get from the pharmacist called Triple Paste. It worked wonders for my daughter! Ask them at the counter, they will have it for you.

As most people said letting the baby "air out" usually works best. My son had a problem with diaper rash, I used to put corn starch on him when we would go out, dont cake it on though. It really worked well. However, if you have tried most of these things, the baby may have a bacterial rash or a yeast rash (yes babys, even boys get yeast rashes, you can check this with your pediatrician) In these 2 cases the doctor will need to prescribe something, these rashes go undiagnosed a lot of times. My niece had a bacterial infection for months, but the doctor kept saying it would go away. Finally he realized it was bacterial and gave her the right prescription, but not before she got some bad scarring. Be persistent with your child's doctor. Sometimes, they forget mom knows best. While the baby has a rash try to stay away from juices substitute water in between milk or formula bottles. I hope something helps, I used to cry when my kids would get bad rashes, cause it makes you feel helpless to see them like that. Good luck.

My suggestion is that you buy a soft linen type of fabric and make diapers out of it by cutting it into squares of adequate size (if you know how to sew). Wrap the cloth on your baby like a diaper then put on the diaper that you usually buy to prevent leakage. This should give your baby some protection from the nasty rash the diaper provokes and continue using the rash cream. You may have to wash those cloth diapers or simply buy more fabric and make more. I hope your baby gets better!

take off the diaper and let air get to it.........air is the best!
Yeah she will pee and stuff but it does help. Dont use any wipes for a few days and just use warm water and dont wipe the area, just pat it.
Make sure she is Completly DRY b4 putting on a new diaper.
There is a cream called Butt Paste that works really good and also a cream called Laniosh (its for chapped skin for breastfeeding moms) but works well on diaper rash's too
the more she air dries (no diaper) then better
you might was to have it checked too if its not gone in a day...it might be a yeast infection on the skin. its commom in the diaper area.

Ok....definitely let the bottom air out. You can buy Chux pads at a drug store to stop the baby from making a pee mess. You need to change the brand of your diaper. I know it sounds nuts but 2 of mine were allergic to Pampers brand but ok with Huggies or store brands while my other one was allergic to Huggies. Seriously....find a diaper that doesn't hurt the baby!!Then alternate PLAIN yogurt (YES THE KIND YOU EAT) spread on the bottom and burnt flour. These are old remedies but they work great. You just put some flour in a pan and cook until brown. Seal it off in a baggy and use alternately with the plain yogurt. BTW...these were DOCTOR recommended when nothing else would work.

Silvadene Cream 1% !!!!!!
This is by prescription only. My son and daughter both experienced the exact rash your explaining. Our pediatrician whom also is on the National board of Pediatrics always gives a prescription for this in cases of extreme diaper rash. It is normally prescribed for severe burn victims; but when you think about it....diaper rash is just that. I would also recommend NOT USING scented wipes-unscented only and assuring she is always dry in unscented diapers. If your pediatrician will prescribe this, I saw dramatic results within 12 hours and my sons was gone after 48hrs and my daughters was gone after 72hrs. Also, if you're breast feeding, my doctor recommended a bland diet for me, just to avoid any possible further irritation that might be contributing to the problem, such as one due to an allergy (although an allergy he said would be EXTREMELY UNCOMMON). Good luck I will pray for you both. God bless......
