There are a group of people (directors) of a company who are about to file a writ petition in the High Court. It is usually mandatory for the plantiff to physically appear while filing the writ. What if one or two of the plantiff's are out of the country? Can they appear prior to leaving the country or add their name to the writ after they come back? The writ HAS to be filed during their absence period! PLEASE HELP! This is urgent!

an advocate and an affidavit from the petitioners is all that is required for filing a writ and for that matter even an advocate is not necessary if one wants to file a case and one can plead all by himself and there is no bar that one should not. I could not get your question correct although. The presence of physical presence comes only during the trial proceedings later when it comes for hearing and examination.

Like a sick man must see a doctor. A troubled person must see a lawyer.
