Unintentional Foul?!? They didn't even call a foul on kobe when they should have, and he knew there was a player behind him. I do agree that Lebron should have been suspended as well, but i think it was because Lebron was a good sport and went to see if wade was alright, but when kobe did what he did to Manu, he just walked away, and later he said that manu is one of his favorite players. Right, like i believe that kobe, anyway i find it hard to believe that kobe did not do it unintentionaly, because he did. I will admit though, what kobe was trying to do was force contact to see if he could draw a foul, but he did it totally wrong, which resulted in Manu getting hit in the face. Anyway kobe did it on a national telecast, and Lebron didn't, even though we saw it that night on sports center. Anyway Manu was bleeding, and Wade was not, that's the only reason i can think of, that the league would suspend Kobe and not Lebron.

Hold on a second there missy, ur sayin kobe's was intentional? do u even watch the lakers game? that's the way Kobe draw fouls when he makes mistakes such as gettin blocked he throws his hand to cause the refs to blow any kind of whistles, he's been doin that for years, if u even watch the lakers u would know, not just assume , ginobli was at the wrong place wrong time, he swung his hand to get contact after ginobli blocked from behind, the nba obviously wants to promote lebron james as the next big thing since kobe's image has not been very "clean" the past years

It's very simple: LeBron's was unintentional while Kobe's was.
If you watched the game, when LeBron went to foul Wade by swinging his arm, he meant to grab Wade. Wade just happened to bend his knees enough for LeBron to hit the neck.
Kobe on the other hand, intentionally hit Ginobili. Your hand obviously does not all of a sudden swing right to whack somebody in the face when you're taking a jump shot.
It is often the player's intentions that determine the punishment.

LeBron's foul was called on the spot as a flagrant. But you know LeBron and Dwyane Wade are friends in real life, so he wouldn't have done anything intentionally to hurt Wade. So this was viewed as an accident. Kobe's move was every bit as spastic, required medical attention to deal with, and was viewed as being "not a basketball move". Whether it was intentional or not, it was all open to debate. The league decided to suspend him. He served the suspension. Moving on.

We're talking about the NBA here, where everyone gets away with just about everything. The NBA lacks consistant punishment for players across the board on a regular basis. I'm sure if it was Kobe that was still making money for the NBA like LeBron then it would probably be the other way around. Money talks and if it wasn't for the Players Association then the NBA wouldn't be in the shape that it's in.

Nobody is the next MJ, especially not Kobe. MJ had a clean record, never got introuble with the law, was in movies, and NOBODY hated him. He was the ideal role model. Ask someone if they hate Jordan. They will say no 100%. Ask someone if they hate kobe. atleast half will say he is an idiot, 1/4 will say they hate him, and the rest will like him. Big difference. Its too early to tell where LeBron is getting since he is so young and he needs a few years for his game to mature.

I agree with answer one. But my opinion on the matter is, the NBA protects their stars. They'll lose more money suspending Lebron than Kobe. And Kobe isnt "the next MJ", Lebron is, supposevly.
All comes down to NBA protects their stars, they make them the money.
p.s.
GO PISTONS!

*observe* i do no longer hate any participant, yet those are diverse the explanation why human beings at right here hate. one million. Kobe: Cheated on his companion, talked crap approximately bynum, "supposedly" ran shaq out of city, asked for a commerce even as a results of fact the lakers sucked, ballhogging, stressful followers LeBron: did no longer shake palms with the magic, the entire tape incident, being a sore loser, crying approximately calls, being "unclutch", stressful followers Wade: umm suitable I even have not seen a lot hate in process wade. 2. I delight in all of them as game enthusiasts and that all of them appear like super human beings. i'm basically a extra effective fan of a few game enthusiasts. 3. It transformations continually. One week it relatively is kobe, then it relatively is lebron, then Howard randomly... yet LeBron and Kobe are the right 2 hated game enthusiasts indoors the league palms down. BQ: Media performs a great functionality. Kobe develop into as quickly as enjoyed by means of skill of a team of human beings, then the entire "rape" incident exceeded off and the media made him seem as though a monster and followers appeared any incorrect way. This year the media develop into concentrated on LeBron and likewise it relatively is relatively helpful to tell by means of skill of the fan base. as a results of fact the Magic series the Media has talked a lot crap approximately LeBron it relatively is marvelous. Now you be wakeful a team of LBJ haters out of no the region. Sorry if I made no adventure hahaah.. I went threw it kinda at once. EDIT: Kobe has extra effective reasons as a results of fact he has been indoors the league longer. In approximately 4-5 years i'm relatively particular human beings would have extra effective reasons of why they hate LBJ and wade... and particular paul and durant
