I know this may sound totally crazy but do you think that the polar bears are linked to the comic that Michal found with Walt and then later burned it? Since there's another one in the hatch -that is now blown to pieces- I thought it might've been a clue, and what was more interesting is that background of the comic where it had some sort of radio transmittin device, which I assumed to be something related to one of the hatches, I don't know, what do you guys think?

Now you mentioned it, the blonde lady did say something about the bears, but how is it possible for polar bears to survive on a tropical island. Another thing, Desmond's girl friend was tracking him down and the 2 guys that were looking for him were somewhere snowy -northpole?- so maybe Desmond's girlfriend has something to do with the whole Dharma thing?....seriously my brain is starting to cramp!!

I think everything on the island happens for a reason, and I really don't think that the polar bear in the comic is a coincidence. Everything seems to be related somehow, and I can't wait to find out why! (I'm actually watching the second season on DVD now, It's amazing!)

Sawyer was locked in a cage that held the polar bears so the baddies were experimenting on them. They either let them go when they were done or they escaped. At first I thought so to but then I think that blond lady said something about these"experiments"
