Just keep on swimmin. Treat folks how you want to be treated and don't expect it back from them. Cause it's only you that you can control.

the best route is to not acknowledge the slight or even the instigators presence.

nothing will upset them more than choosing to ignore their very existence, because ATTENTION is exactly what they are looking for. like a small child finding any way to be acknowledged - good or bad.

don't get upset over their actions, it is not personal. some people lack proper upbringing or social skills to have positive interactions with others. just feel sorry for the fools, walk away, and you will be the wiser in these types of situations.

note: actions may speak louder than words but sometimes life demands a more confrontational approach to resolve a dispute... be resolute... and pop 'em in the mouth.

The answer is called prepaving. When you know you will be encountering the person or situation, spend some time rehearsing how you would like it to be beforehand. Watch the film "The Secret" as it contains many great examples and will certainly change your life for the better.

just tell yourself it's not worth it. the best thing to do in that situation is to ignore them and walk away, be the mature one. they will feel really bad about it later on.. and that won't be your problem.
