I don't think we can only rely on luck alone in our life since we need to 'keep going', in other words, keep doing things as planned or required for our work or studies. In brief, our due success does not rely on mere luck, rather it does rely on our hard work then luck, if any, should follow suit.

i sure was lucky that i worked my as$ off for where i am in life and the things i have.
y'know, i was just walking down the street and 'boom' luck fell on me and i became instantly great and had all this really cool sh!t.
