I live pretty close to Indy and its one of the most polite cities you could ever visit! People in Indianapolis will not flip your car over and set stuff on fire because they respect other people! The Indianapolis Colts fit the profile for the City of Indianapolis! The team has class and so does its citizens! Everyone thinks that Indy is some hick town or something. But actually there are over 1 million people that live there! Now compared to Chicago thats not much. But it is a larger city than it appears. Thats why Dallas Clark said during the celebration "I didn't know this many people lived in Indianapolis!" If I remember right; Indianapolis is actually larger than Cincy! Ask them if they love their Bengals!

They did celebrate.....they just didn't trash the city like Chicago would have if they won. The thing about Indianapolis football that you need to understand is this: It is a classy city with a classy football organization. We here in Indiana are proud to win the Super Bowl with class....Unlike the Patriots. Our fans waited on the team for an extra four hours because their flight was delayed, but no one left....they just sat there four more hours waiting to congratulate their team...

they did celebrate...they just celebrated quietly, calmly and with class. everyone acknowledged the team when they won. and the next day, they had a victory rally in the RCA Dome. Thousands were there as all the Colts thanked the fans. And thousands more waited outside just to get a glimpse of the team.
Class.

Usually teams reflect their coaches and really the whole team are low key guys. They're not really emotional or flashy during the game so it really didn't shock me that they were that vocal right after the game. Just look at Dungy. He's got to be the coolest, smoothest coach I've ever seen in my life. And between him and Harrison, they're all really private people. So is it really that shocking that they weren't all over the place on tv? I'm willing to bet they savored it out of the spotlight.
