Definitely could be teething. Also, when babies reach different developmental stages it can keep them up at night. Is she starting to pull up on things, she could wake up and night and try to do that. They just feel different when they realize they can move around more, they don't really want to sleep because they know they can do new, fun stuff. Or it could be separation anxiety.

If she does not have teeth yet or has not gotten one recently and is druelling a lot...That is probably what is going on. I used chamomile (dissolving tablets) and gumomile (not spelled right) for my kids when they were teething. Both can be found at a Whole Foods store...There are also liquid droppers for teething but I found the chamomile the most effective. It had a very calming effect and helped them sleep better...
If that is not helping, try checking her eating routine. Make sure she is getting enough to eat before bed. Sometimes when they are going through a growth spurt they are still hungry when you put them to bed and they will not sleep.
Lastly, it could be something related to her schedule through the day....If she is napping too much or too late...It may be impacting her sleep at night. Try to establish a 2 nap a day routing and keep the day consistent. Try to let her self soothe when she cries...
Hope something helps so you get some more sleep!

What a coincidence my 10 mth old is doing exactly the same thing. Do you think it's a conspiricy? lol
I find that now he loves to move around, wont stay still, won't stay wrapped and has his hands up in his face all the time. It's fun I know.
Im trying to limit how much time he is sleeping during the day. Making sure hes nice and tired when he goes to bed. I feel I may have to try some controlled crying though. I think the best plan may be to make sure you have a few days and nights home make a plan and really try to stick to it. Hopefully that will be all it takes. Goodluck.

Could be teething. But it also could be overstimulation from not sleeping enough during the day. Or maybe she's sleeping too much during the day. Try changing her schedule around a little bit. My son is 10 months old, and he doesn't go to bed until 9:30. He wakes up around 7:30.

It's probably teething or a growth spurt. If she just learned something new like standing up by herself, walking or cruising, she might be too excited about that to sleep. My son started waking up all the time when he first learned to stand up. Try giving your daughter a little bit of Tylenol at bedtime. If it works, you'll know it's teething or a growth spurt. If it doesn't work, see if you can get her to take an earlier or shorter nap and then put her down a little later. It might be that she doesn't need as much sleep as she used to. Babies can also be cranky at night if they have an ear infection. Watch her closely for any other signs of ear pain (tugging at her ear, shaking or banging her head, loss of appetite) and have the doctor check her out if you even mildly suspect one.

my daughter is 15 months and still gets up 2x a night......you lucky you got this far with a schedule like that.
Yes it could be teething, if she is having signs of teething, maybe you should give her a little Motrin to help her with the pain.
If your breastfeeding or bottle feeding...i would give her a little right b4 you go to bed to help her sleep a little bit longer.
She could just be hungry and its not her teeth at all.
Just remember no baby has the same schedule month to month, once they hit new milestones, everything changes
Hang in there momma!
And please DONT LET THEM CRY IT OUT....

My son is cellular and able to deal with this. I definitely have additionally positioned a flat pillow in his crib, this gives convenience to him. Could be teething.
Also could be a growth spurt - if a baby is in a huge growth spurt ... he might just be hungry!
And if you live in a cold climate, make sure to have a humidifier if the air is very dry in your house from heating. It can be irritating to little ones!
