Time to crack the textbook eh? Motor skills are affected by several areas of the brain but most motor skills are controlled by the Cerebellum, it's the area at the lower back of the brain. The Cerebrum affects how you use your motor skills and the data used to determine what you do with your body. Some reactions (reflexes) are determined in the spinal cord and the Medulla Oblongata. There are involuntary muscle contractions in the viscera but I believe that your instructor wanted to know about major motor functions like moving your arms and legs.

Obviously your brain isn't healthy enough to drive a car. OF COURSE THE BRAIN CONTROLS EVERYTHING. WHAT ELSE DO YOU THINK CONTROLS YOU MOTOR SKILLS?
